About me

John is dedicated to protecting the rights of consumers.   As part of Nichols Kaster’s Consumer Litigation team, John represents people who have been harmed by unfair and illegal practices.  John has fought for the little guy in cases involving illegal criminal background checks, unfair debt collection practices, illegal payday lending, and improper mortgage servicing practices.

Prior to joining Nichols Kaster in 2014, John worked as a law clerk for Magistrate Judge Geraldine Soat Brown in the Northern District of Illinois. During law school, John worked at a class action law firm in New York that represented employees and consumers. He was also a member of the Columbia Law Review, and was elected by his classmates to speak at graduation.
