About me

Having been in practice for 20 years the times are countless that I’m asked “Aren’t you burnt out?”  My answer is always ” I love my job!”  I can think of no other profession that allows you to interact with different people on a daily basis and be able to, not only help others, but also keep the competitive fire burning that has always been a part of my make up.

Customer Reviews

My record included the most a suapended license to never being in any physical altercation. The events that took place were something that I would’ve never of been able to handle on my own. We all make mistakes, but they dont effect how you are as a defense attorney. Thank god I lessened to a friend and hired Mr Cox. I would’nt of been able to go through this alone. If you are stuck in a “situation” hire the best in Ada County.

Finding a good lawyer is like finding a good doctor! When there is something wrong with your health you want the best doctor you can find…..enough said 😉

I saw mr Cox’s business profile online. Profiles online always need to be verified. I found out by having my consultation and was immediately impressed with Mr Cox. From being clear on costs to having my questions answered on my legal situation clearly and pragmatically satisfied. A sword in one hand a cross in the other was his approach to handling my case. When I needed to contact Mr Cox, my calls were either answered immediately or soon after. Being falsely charged with domestic abuse by my live in girlfriend was very stressful. Jon has a very high rate of winning his trials. If you want a lawyer who has the experience and ability to fight for you I highly recommend a consultation. I enjoyed his battlefield approach and knowledge of the law. From picking the jury to court room comfort Jon’s affable personality was bright. I also read about Mr Cox’s trouble with DUI’s. I found that to be a plus as he experienced the hot seat and did what he needed to correct his life. That is no small thing in my book.

I’m very grateful to Mr Cox and his office for all they did and accomplished for me!

Jon is a man that you know just from his handshake you can trust him. He listened to me and was very upfront. I didn’t feel like he pushed me into taking a deal just because it was easier for him. He went to bat for me. I’m thankful to have had him by my side during one of the most difficult and trying times.
