Phillip B. Nghiem was born in Fountain Valley, California. Mr. Nghiem obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology at California State University Long Beach in 2007. In Fall of 2007, Mr. Nghiem returned to the University on a full tuition scholarship. In 2009, he received his Master of Arts degree in Asian and Asian American Studies, with a research emphasis in interracial and interethnic group conflict.
Mr. Nghiem then enrolled at Western State University College of Law. During law school Mr. Nghiem was chosen to be a member of the school’s Honors Moot Court team, where he twice argued at the UC Davis Asylum & Refugee Law National Moot Court Competition in Sacramento.
Mr. Nghiem has been with Manning Law, APC since 2006 when he began working as a law clerk while attending classes in the evening. He worked in the firm’s personal injury and consumer protection department. When Mr. Nghiem passed the July 2013 bar exam he was promoted to an associate attorney at Manning Law, APC.
As an attorney at Manning Law, APC, Mr. Nghiem defends consumers in debt collection actions and handles personal injury and consumer financial related claims on behalf of his clients.
Mr. Nghiem is a member the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Advocates, and the American Association of Justice.
