I have worked with Bill Hulsey and Loren Smith for about 3.5 years on a software patent for Cachinko.com. They are very talented, easy to work with, and are good at understanding technical requirements quickly. I was referred to Bill by one of his current clients and have already referred him 2 new customers in the software and bio-tech industry.
I recommend Hulsey IP for technology patent work. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.
Patent #12 just issued and there are several more in the works, both domestic and international. I’ve worked with Bill since 1991 (following him from firm to firm) and never regreted a moment of it. He simply does it all right for a reasonable price. I’ve been with 5 different companies since meeting Bill and evaluated numerous other attorneys and firms but always stayed with Bill. He is extremely knowledgable about a very, very wide range of technologies and always brings something to the crafting of claims that turns out to be valuable. Excellent choice for anyone.
Bill Hulsey and his team are some of the best IP attorneys I have encountered. I have applied for seven patents and have four patents issued. In addition, as a consultant I have worked with a number of companies on their IP issues. Bill and his associates are the best. On recent patent submissions they took my claims and expanded on them and made them more approriate for the application. I would highly recommend Bill for any IP work.
Bill Hulsey has a wealth of practical knowledge about intellectual property and is extremely easy to work with. He understands IP, how IP works in the business world, and critically, how to relate to inventors and entrepreneurs seeking to maximize protection and value. The byzantine intricacies of patent law confound most inventors and innovators, and Bill has the rare ability to explain any aspects of patent law to the lay person. You can place your full trust in him. The results with our patents have been outstanding.
Being based out of Canada we needed a respectable lawyer to help us with protecting our IP in the US. Bill and his team were very knowledgeable and eager to explain US IP Law to us. Highly recommend.
I have worked with Bill and his team off and on for the past 10 years. His knowledge and pleasant personality makes him easy to work with. Since he is very efficient with his time, I have gotten the most value from what I have paid as well. Additionally, Bill has a worldwide network of resources to draw from making international patent work very effective. I’ve worked with many lawyers over the years. I consider Bill at the top of list when it comes to patent work.
Within one day of talking with Bill on the phone about my patent idea, I got a face to face meeting with him to educate me on the patent process, scope out work, and estimate cost. His firm filed my provisional patent competently and cost effectively. Since then I have transferred my trademark work over to his firm as well. In my experience whenever I have a quesiton I can call him up and get a quick and thorough response. I am very satisfied with his firm’s work.
For a growing start-up technology company, the protection of our intellectual property is of utmost priority and importance. Bill and his team assisted us in quicky assessing our IP needs and provided advice and service to protect us. The professionalism and service was outstanding and we were provided sound advice to meet our needs. Bill and his firm exude fairness and service that goes unquestioned. I strongly recommend Hulsey IP law firm to anyone needing legal advice and service to protect Intellectual property.
